If you could look up a couple of goals in the dictionary, there would most likely be an image of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds looking at you with their megawatt smiles. They're considered two of the most attractive people in Hollywood (if not on the planet), and their film and TV credits aren't too shabby either.

There's the murky timeline from the start of their relationship, the constant rumors of an impending divorce, and rumors that their marriage is far from the image they represent. At the risk of causing a universal meltdown by pointing out the quirks of an otherwise perfect couple, here are some weird things about Blake Lively and Ryan Reynold's marriage.

Were they really in the friend zone?

Between filming back-to-back blockbusters and attending movie premieres around the world, it can be hard to find time to squeeze in a date, which is probably why co-stars often end up dating each other. Take Lively and Reynolds, for example. They met on the set of Green Lantern in 2010 and bonded as 'friends' before things got hot and heavy.

His first d*te was double, with other people

While it's easy to see that Lively and Reynolds are so perfect for each other, it wasn't really love at first sight for the couple. Double dates are awkward enough without your date starting to eat the person across the table, but that's exactly what happened to the poor unlucky souls who got paired up with the future Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds.

'About a year later Green Lantern had gone and been alone, we went on a double date, she was on a date with another guy and I was on a date with another girl, and it was like the most awkward date for the respective parties because we were just like fireworks coming across each other,'' Reynolds said in a 2016 interview with People.

When it comes to secret celebrity weddings, Lively and Reynold's nuptials take the cake (and oh, what an extravagant and expensive cake it probably was).  The couple is known for being extremely private, and reportedly went to great lengths to ensure their wedding went unnoticed by even the most diligent paparazzi, 'reportedly asking guests to sign non-disclosure agreements and confiscating all phones during the ceremony'. Fashion .

Bits of information surrounding the happy occasion eventually leaked, including the guest list, which included her Sisterhood of the Pants travel costars America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn, and Alexis Bledel, according to Us Weekly.

While we're sure the day was magical, we can't help but wonder why the ceremony was kept so quiet. Lively spilled some juicy deets and a few blunders in an interview with Vogue. "Our wedding was turning into a disaster, and we didn't know what to do, so we called Martha Stewart]," the actress said. Stewart said her 'idol of hers' sent a team to save the day.

So does Lively want to keep the details of her wedding private, or is she willing to spill even more hot tea on her big day? We are all kinds of confused.'

They are big on social media PDA

For a couple who didn't announce their engagement or wedding and are really picky about showing off their kids (more on that later), these two really pack in the online PDA.

Lively and Reynolds maintain a strong presence on both Twitter and Instagram. From communicating via odd, emoji tweets to posting Photoshopped images with captions about denim condoms, it's clear the two have no problem sharing their inside jokes with the world. 

Lively also posted a image on her Instagram account with her husband and the caption: Two dead wells, one cup. Your turn' and how could we forget the time Reynolds uploaded a birthday dedication to her wife but he hilariously cropped it out of her picture. It's clear that these two will go to great lengths to keep their love alive through random tweets and posts, but we just wish this Hollywood power couple was as sincere as IRL.

They left Taylor Swift in the third wheel

Once you become part of singer Taylor Swift's infamous squad, you're in it for life, and that apparently still applies even after members of her girl crew get punched.

 The two Hollywood stars have been BFFs for a while now, at least since December 2015, when Lively showed the world her Swiftie status at the 'Shake it Off' singer's concert in Brisbane, Australia.

When Swift isn't in a potentially Grammy Award-winning relationship, she doesn't mind going third wheel with her and Reynolds' best friend. Not only did Swift give Lively better birthday thank yous than Reynolds, but the actress even requested a 'Husband Update' after Swift dressed as Reynold's character Deadpool for Halloween.
